This summer has seen a number of exciting developments at SYM, including the addition of the newly launched Sunseeker 131 Yacht “JACOZAMI” to the management fleet.
With more 25m+ yachts under management than ever, a testament to the wide-ranging and specialised services offered by SYM Superyacht Management, the build and launch of “JACOZAMI” has been a particularly interesting project for the SYM team.
Having managed the owner’s previous smaller vessel over the past 2 years, the owners looked to recruit a Captain suited to running a high profile charter yacht of “JACOZAMI's” size. From the moment experienced Sunseeker Captain Jean-Maxime Berthet came onboard, the project became a huge success.
As the build was underway, the SYM team were hard at work ensuring the boat was fully prepared for its launch and operation as a commercial yacht. An expert crew was carefully sourced and trained to meet the vessel’s exceptional charter standards, selecting the very best candidates from the SYM Crew database of over 6,500.
Together with the crew, SYM were responsible for sourcing equipment onboard and readying the yacht for guest usage, from deck fittings to galley apparatus, interior furnishings to tenders and toys. Overseeing the installation of the mini ISM system, the team also implemented the yacht’s Deep Blue yacht management software – ensuring the smooth and accurate running of all financial administration.
Following the successful completion of sea trials and handover, the crew delivered “JACOZAMI” from Poole through the Bay of Biscay to the South of France, where the yacht is now based for charter.
The third hull of the newly launched 131 Yacht range – developed from the phenomenally popular 40 Metre Yacht – “JACOZAMI” boasts an exceptional specification, and is set to be a hugely popular vessel in the Mediterranean. Sporting a sleek and innovative look with expansive glazing and characteristic Sunseeker lines, she accommodates 10 guests in 5 luxurious cabins.
“JACOZAMI” is available to charter through Sunseeker Charters at €158,000 per week + VAT and APA.
